Tasty Neyyappam
Raw Rice/White rice-2cups
Wash and soak for 3-4 hours ..Then drain and keep aside .Melt jaggery and strain.. After cooling down grind along with rice in two three batches .The consistency should be loose than idli batter ..Check the taste ..Add salt,cardamom powder ,sesame seeds and ghee .Mix well .. and keep the batter overnight or 12 hours .
Then take out the batter and check the consistency ,If u feel its to thick u can add 1-2 tbsp of water and mix.Heat oil and when its medium hot pour one small ladle of batter and fry till golden colour ..Enjoy our authentic Neyyappam..
