Chicken Pallipalayam


Ingredients

Chicken -3/4 kg Dry red chilli-10 or according to your spice level Garlic -1 pod Small onion -300 gm (30-35) Coconut slices -of 1/2 Salt Oil -3tbsp Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp Urad dal -1/2 tsp Curry leaves - Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp

Method

Heat oil in a kadai splutter mustard seeds followed by urad dal and curry leaves . Now add chili and saute till raw smell goes Now add shallots , garlic and salt ..Saute till light brown shade .Then add turmeric powder saute for 2 minutes ,then add coconut pieces and mix well..Finally add chicken and mix well ,cook for 5 minutes .Now close the kadai and cook (add water if needed )When the chicken is well cooked , open the kadai and roast more .check the taste and adjust acordingly.Finally sprinkle some coconut oil and curryleaves .. So the tasty easy spicy chicken pallipalayam is ready to serve ..
